Given the current state of the media world, it appears freelancing might be your only route. But, is it me or has freelancing changed in this crummy economy?
Gone are the days when a low budget shoot would warrant a quick buck and potential for future endeavor. Today, an affiliation with a HD camcorder and a boom microphone is considered a success. A project with a semi-shady director and unbearable content is a reason to get excited. And if, on top of that, I get paid?....Ohhh, then you just made my month.
Man, how low can we go?
